Frugality is often misunderstood. My efforts to be frugal opened my eyes and ears to a previously unknown world of recurring; incredible free music near my home.
As a sharer of things I enjoy; my goal is to eventually have a hub of monthly calendars to show people where all the free things and free music are based on what city they’re they’re in.
If you want to be helpful; start finding free music where you live, and when I’m ready you can help me build the calendar for your neighbors and we will make the coolest hub for travel or for curious audiophiles to see more live music.
If it’s bluegrass music it’s 100% in line with our mission for this website and associated platforms; but it’s really about adding more love, fun, and joy to your life.
Any music and social gathering has potential to replenish your soul and restore your faith in the human family.
Happy listening; and make sure to make someone’s day!! (Whenever you “have the bandwidth”)
If someone is nice/kind to you; go ahead and pay that forward times two or three or, every chance you get.
While you can never be too nice; we can target folks who make it clear they aren’t ready for help. Remember: “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him.drink”
You can never check on people too much or offer too much help; just make sure you read the person’s reception and response, always read the room and be alert.
Keep in mind that some people are stunted.
Your offer of help will be a reminder of the first step towards happiness and will help when they are ready.
It’s as simple as calling a relative or friend and verbally reconnecting; discuss mutual aid and keep the door open. Say, “I love you and I want you to know I’m always here if you need me.”
If you’re one of these people with a direct sibling, even if they’re a half sibling stepbrother, (I don’t care what their actual relationship is); who you aren’t friends with…
You need to go call them, and make sure they know they love you!! by the end of the day; that’s your homework! 🤙🏼
